As part of the Our Voices: Festival of Words weekend, Pulitzer Prize-winner Jericho Brown wil join us.

Mr. Brown will offer a brief poetry reading and engage in conversation with writer and storyteller, Nadege Green.

An Evening With will also feature the debut readings of the finalists from our Of House and Home playwriting contest.

Art Prevails Project hosts monthly writing workshops for the community leading up to our Festival of Words in April 2024.

Each workshop will feature exercises that explore community and identity and give participants the opportunity to creatively express their thoughts, emotions and experiences.

At the end of the workshop experience, some participants will have the opportunity to share their work at the culminating festival. These artists will receive an honorarium for their participation in the festival.

Ages 16 and up.
